Rectangular in shape, the site is virtually flat, rises from East Avenue to Freedom Parkway just a few feet. The subject has approximately 180 ft. of frontage on East Avenue and 270 ft. on Sampson Street. The western property line is adjacent to 4 single-family homes on Fortune Street. The site has seven oak trees
on it.

Currently, a small portion (.128) acres of the site is a City street named Florence Street. Closed in 1950 and again when Freedom Parkway was completed, the street was somehow never abandoned. An application has been filed and fees have been paid to the City to correct this oversight. We expect this action to be completed late summer 2009.
